Each carton would have have
an individual sticker, , indicating the name of the supplier,
net weight gross weight, number of pieces and identification
number which would indicate the exact date, place and field
number of the packing
All packaging would be stored in clean, dry, pest-free areas
and off the ground (on pallets). When produce is packed in the
field, packaging should be kept off the ground and the appropriate
measures taken to ensure pest contamination
cannot occur.
